Interview with Vicki Huntley, MRWP, NTP
Today’s clients are complicated. I’ve been in the nutrition field for 22 years and remember when simply making a few dietary suggestions and starting a little hydrochloric acid was enough to turn a client around. Now I can’t remember when I last had an “easy” client. Almost every single person we work with these days has multiple issues, from poor digestion to blood sugar dysregulation, fatigue, and, all too frequently, biotoxins like mold and mycotoxins.
Functional nutritionists need to know how to work with complex clients like this. How do you figure out what’s going on with them and where do you start? Healing transformations with complex clients requires clinical skills – and that’s what we teach at RWS.
Today I’m sharing just such a case with you. I’m interviewing a Restorative Wellness Solutions Level 4 grad, Vicki Huntley, whose own health journey is incredibly complex. Vicki is dealing with several autoimmune conditions and biotoxins.

Vicki Huntley, NTP, is a Master RWP. Vicki uses lab testing coupled with advanced clinical skills to look for the root cause of illness in the body. She uses functional bloodwork to evaluate for multiple patterns of dysfunction, from blood sugar dysregulation to thyroid dysfunction to autoimmunity and more.
Vicki applies this critical assessment of lab results through the lens of her client’s health history and symptom presentation and creates a comprehensive healing protocol. She helps clients through their journey towards a wellness transformation, which typically resolves the issues clients have been struggling with for years.
